Bring your film and your business. We'll spend a few days working on both.

It's a small group of producers and filmmakers, and everybody brings ONE film. I lead every session. Each one is three to four hours on one part of the MOVIE framework from my book, BLOCKBUSTER. I teach that part, and then you work through it on your own film and business while everyone else does the same with theirs.

We start with dinner the first night. Days two and three have two sessions each, and there's one more on the last morning before everyone heads home. The 2027 retreat is in the mountains again, and lodging and meals are included. Dates and details are coming soon.

Take the free four-minute scorecard below and you're on the early-access list. You'll hear about seats before they open to the public, and you'll get your score plus the one thing I'd work on first. If you've taken my scorecard before, you're already on it. Nothing else to do!

Daren Smith, producer and founder of Craftsman Films. Five features, four released in theaters, most recently Brotherhood: A Cinematic Musical. Our last retreat was September 2025 at Sundance Mountain Resort with 12 producers.
